چکیده
The NbTaHfTiZrV0.5 is a refractory multi-principal-element alloy with high strength and good ductility at room temperature. It important for possible high-temperature applications to investigate the deformation mechanism of different temperatures using tensile tests. In this investigation, tests were conducted temperature 1273 K on sheet materials fabricated by cold rolling combined annealing treatments. At 473 K, exhibited (12%). testing range 673~873 was reduced, but yield remained above 800 MPa, which rare in most other alloys. TEM investigations revealed that dislocation slip controlled plastic deformation, degree closely related density. true stress–strain curves under conditions obtained (673~873 K) strain rates (0.001~0.0005 s−1). Experimental results utilized construct parameters constitutive model based traditional mathematical predict flow behavior temperatures. excellent mechanical properties will enable it be used several engineering applications.

HIGH TEMPERATURE ELASTIC PROPERTIES OF REFRACTORY MATERIALS
Abstract: A pulse-echo technique, based on ultrasonic "long-bar" mode (LBM) velocity measurements, working up to 1700°C is described. Magnetostrictive transducers and ultrasonic lines used in a 40-85 kHz frequency range are detailed. The conditions of choice of fundamental parameters (frequency, line geometry, sample size) are discussed in relation with the nature and the microstructure of ...
متن کاملThe Microstructure and Mechanical Properties of Refractory High-Entropy Alloys with High Plasticity
Refractory high-entropy alloys (RHEAs) are promising materials used at high temperature, but their low plasticity restricts their application. Based on the valence electron concentration (VEC) principle, four kinds of RHEAs (ZrTiHfV0.5Nb0.5, Zr2.0TiHfVNb2.0, ZrTiHfNb0.5Mo0.5, and ZrTiHfNb0.5Ta0.5) are designed (VEC < 4.5). The experimental results show that the plasticity of these alloys was gr...

The majority of studies on high-entropy alloys are focused on their phase, microstructure, and mechanical properties. However, the physical properties of these materials are also encouraging. This paper provides a brief overview of the physical properties of high-entropy alloys. Emphasis is laid on magnetic, electrical, and thermal properties.
متن کاملAb initio-predicted micro-mechanical performance of refractory high-entropy alloys
Recently developed high-entropy alloys (HEAs) consisting of multiple principal elements represent a new field of metallurgy and have demonstrated appealing properties for a wide range of applications. Using ab initio alloy theory, we reveal the alloying effect on the elastic properties and the ideal tensile strength (ITS) in the [001] direction of four body-centered cubic (bcc) refractory HEAs ...
متن کاملA Promising New Class of High-Temperature Alloys: Eutectic High-Entropy Alloys
High-entropy alloys (HEAs) can have either high strength or high ductility, and a simultaneous achievement of both still constitutes a tough challenge. The inferior castability and compositional segregation of HEAs are also obstacles for their technological applications. To tackle these problems, here we proposed a novel strategy to design HEAs using the eutectic alloy concept, i.e. to achieve ...
